Fresh New Week

Ok, so I spent the weekend doing pretty much nothing. I did get three scrapbook pages done, but considering that I had two entire days to myself, that really isn't much. I watched The Secret Life of Bees Saturday night and I have to say it was good. I usually hate to watch movies before I read the book, but I fell into the trap - with this one and with Twilight. Anyways, just wanted to let everyone know that I'm going to start working on Anna's Easter gifts for the family. They are cute little Easter Lillies made out of her handprint. I'll post pictures whenever I get them done. (It is the hardest thing to get her to sit still and let me trace her hand!)

Ok, so I got a new header and I'm pretty happy with it. And I added the three top scrapbooking blogs I keep up with. I tried to add a blinkie from Sassafras so I could win some stuff, but I couldn't do it. I am so computer challenged. Well, I am off now to scrapbook for real this time. I have a goal to be accepted on a design team within the next 6 months so I need to get working. I made a resolution in January to be published in a magazine and after my first time submitting, I got in! I'll be published in Scrapbooks Etc. in August. Yay for me!

So, how about this background? Short of a custom made blog, I think this is the best it will be. At least for a while. Now, for a good name for my blog. It's been changed twice and it still isn't any good. I do a lot of scrapbooking, but every variation of "scrap"-something has been taken. So if you have a good idea, let me know! I'm going to work on this while I finish watching Super Nanny (I need to know what to do before Anna turns crazy on me). Then after that, I'm scrapbooking! YAY! No baby, no hubby...such a good weekend to get stuff done.

Okay, see, I'm trying. I really am. I got a new background and a new font, even though I don't know that this post is going to be in the new font. I tried for a new banner, but it didn't work for some reason. I'm going to try again later. If I can stay awake long enough I'm even going to try to add some cute little blinkies. Sassafras has a really cute one. For those of you that don't know, Sassafras is a scrapbooking company. I LOVE them. But yeah, we'll see if I get that done tonight. Wish me luck!

Just wanted to let anyone who is reading this know that I'm trying! I'm trying to figure out how to make this thing cute and how to put in pictures and little blinkies and lists.
