Hello 2011

I was looking for a cute quote about the new year to post today, because I have nothing of importance to say.
I happen to like this one.
Maybe I'll follow it's advice.

5 Days

This year has flown by. Maybe it's being in a new town, a new house. I don't really know. I just know that the year is almost gone and I'm not sure where it went.

To everyone I forgot....

Ok, squint your eyes and come really close to the computer. See that teeny tiny card there? That's our Christmas card.  I don't know why I can't get it bigger.
Maybe I just like to make you work for the peek!

DIY Cookie Cutter Ornaments

Aren't these some pretty cute and super simple ornaments? Just cut a strip of paper as wide and long as your cookie cutter, adhere it, then embellish it! Wall-A!

Doily Garland Tutorial

I've seen all sorts of these done up around the web, so I had to get busy on my own! They are quick and simple and a perfect home made holiday garland. Plus, you can add glitter, spell out a sentiment, color your doilies, whatever you want to do. It's fully customizable!

 1. Start with some doilies, string, and punched circles.

 2. Fold everything in half.

3. Adhere them all together.

4. String them up!

ScrapFreak Kit

Here's what I created with the ScrapFreak December Kit.
I made a darling little hair bow for Anna.

And if you haven't heard, ScrapFreak will be closing it's doors in December. It's a sad day for us all.

Great Buy!

I went looking for books the other day at Half Price Book Store. And what did I find? The best scrapbooking deal ever.
I have no idea what happened to this picture and why it's surrounded by black!

It's a book all about wrapping paper from the 60's. And every page is covered with cute little scraps of paper that would be great for layouts or cards.
Wouldn't these be cute for some dad cards?

I have a circus page just waiting to be done with that carousel!

Love the vintage Christmas!

MIA

I've been missing in action, I know.
I've done no scrapping.
And my December Daily album is still sitting there, waiting for me to do something with it.
Something, anything.
It's not a great thing that I'm only on day 3 and already behind.
I'll catch up soon.
Maybe.
Or maybe I'll just start it next year?
